Community Mental Health Professional (Occupational Therapist/Social Worker Lvl 1-2, Psychologist, Registered Nurse) - Bankstown Older Persons Mental Health (Pool) - Perm/Temp FT

Are You the Right Fit?
We are seeking a qualified and experienced mental health clinician with demonstrated experience working with older adults in a health or community setting. You will bring experience in comprehensive assessment, care planning and evidence based interventions, along with a strong commitment to recovery oriented, person centred biopsychosocial practice within a community mental health environment. You will be confident working collaboratively with consumers, carers, families, GPs, Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) and community service providers, and you will have sound knowledge of psychiatric medications and the ability to work within relevant legal and ethical frameworks, including the NSW Mental Health Act 2007. You will also be willing to participate in supervision, performance development and ongoing professional learning in line with NSW Health requirements. This role suits clinicians seeking stable weekday hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (subject to operational needs) while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people and their families within the community.

Relevant qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA),
or qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or CSU Graduates: Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health).

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
