Offplanet Enterprises Pty Ltd We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team at one of the busy, well-regarded restaurant on Tamborine Mountain, El Burro Cantina and Saint Marthe Brasserie. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation, and ensuring food safety and kitchen standards.

Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, you will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Task & responsibilities

- Planning menus, including seasonal and daily specials, in consultation with management
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
- Overseeing portion control and monitoring food costs and wastage
- Ensuring the kitchen operates in line with food safety,



hygiene, and workplace health regulations
- Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff during service
- Ordering and managing stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and work areas
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff and apprentices
- Adapting recipes and dishes to accommodate dietary requirements, including gluten-free preparation

Qualification & experience

- Minimum of 12 months' relevant experience working as a Chef is required.
- A trade qualification such as a Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and a Diploma in Hospitality Management is required for this role.
