Job Description:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Assisting with daily kitchen operations and service.
- Following recipes, portion controls and presentation standards.
- Preparing ingredients and maintaining an organised and productive workstation.
- Ensuring food quality, freshness and consistency throughout service.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food wastage.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Contributing ideas for menu development and daily specials.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

- Must have Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Certificate IV in Kitchen Management,



and Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Minimum 1 year of professional chef experience
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
