About the Role

Due to continued growth and exciting new partnerships, we’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and expanding team.

Location: Across Sydney
Employment type: Contractor, Part-time or Full-time
Caseload: Predominantly older adults and people living with disability
Work style: Flexible, autonomous, supportive and client-focused

As a mobile Occupational Therapist with OTR Health, you’ll work directly with clients in their homes and communities, helping them stay safe,



independent, confident and engaged in everyday life.

Your caseload will be varied and rewarding, with opportunities to complete functional assessments, recommend equipment and assistive technology, support home modifications, improve safety and mobility, and help clients achieve meaningful goals.

You’ll have plenty of autonomy without feeling like you’re working alone. Our management and admin team are always available to support you, helping with scheduling, referrals, client communication and the day-to-day administration that allows you to focus on your clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role may include:





- Conducting functional and Occupational Therapy assessments in clients’ homes

- Supporting clients with activities of daily living and maintaining independence

- Recommending and prescribing assistive technology, mobility equipment and daily living aids

- Assessing and recommending minor and major home modifications

- Completing falls risk, mobility, transfer, seating and pressure care assessments where appropriate

- Developing practical strategies to improve safety, independence and quality of life

- Providing education and recommendations to clients, families and carers

- Preparing clear and timely clinical notes, reports and supporting documentation

- Working collaboratively with care managers, support coordinators, families, equipment suppliers, builders and other health professionals

- Building strong relationships with clients and referrers

About You

Essential Criteria

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current AHPRA registration

- Professional indemnity insurance

- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

- Current National Police Check

- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

- Up-to-date vaccinations as required for relevant healthcare settings

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Community or mobile Occupational Therapy

- Aged care and Home Care Packages

- NDIS

- Functional assessments

- Assistive technology and equipment prescription

- Home modifications

- Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS reporting
