A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to work within the Renal and Germ cell Oncology service.
You will be part of the CNS team working alongside the band 7 CNS and the band 6 support nurse. The post is based in Oncology out-patients, with the role covering both outpatient and inpatient settings.
You will have excellent communication and time management skills, have the ability to work under pressure within and as part of the multidisciplinary team. Your role will be to support and manage these patients and their carers throughout their cancer journey. This will include triaging new referrals, coordinating treatment, sign posting and supporting patients through their follow-up and surveillance and supporting end of care. Being point of contact for this client groups requires autonomous working within scope of practice, resilience and team working.
Point of contact for this client group and other AHP that requires excellent communication skills.
Triaging and coordinating care.
