Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) / Responsible Person – Brand New Centre | The Ponds

An exciting opportunity to join the foundation team of our brand-new Just For Kids Preschool & Long Daycare Centre in The Ponds.

Just For Kids has been providing quality early childhood education and care for over 20 years . As we prepare to open our newest centre, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) / Responsible Person to join our team and play an important role in establishing the culture and educational workplace of the new service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ECT who is looking for more than just another teaching position. You will have the opportunity to join a new team from the beginning, contribute to the development of the centre and work closely with our management team.
For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to grow into a 2IC leadership position as the centre establishes and grows.

About the Role

- Develop and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Create nurturing and stimulating learning environments for children
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with and support fellow educators
- Act as a Responsible Person when required
- Support the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Maintain a strong understanding of the NQF,



NQS and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the development of our new centre
- Have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the centre grows

About You

- Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Has previous experience within an early childhood education setting
- Has strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
- Is confident taking on Responsible Person responsibilities
- Is reliable, organised and a strong communicator
- Enjoys supporting and mentoring other educators
- Has leadership aspirations and is interested in progressing their career
- Holds a current NSW Working With Children Check and relevant First Aid qualifications
