About the Role

Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support across our retail stores and head office. This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced HR professional who thrives in a quick‑paced retail environment and enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver practical people solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning across retail stores and head office.
- Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Australian employment legislation.
- Coach and support managers in handling employee matters and developing high-performing teams.
- Lead HR projects focused on employee engagement, retention,



culture and organisational development.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards and company policies.
- Analyse HR trends and provide recommendations to improve people practices.
- Support change management initiatives as the business continues to grow.
- Mentor junior HR team members and contribute to continuous improvement across the People & Culture function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role, including experience managing complex employee relations matters.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting multi‑site operations, preferably within retail or a fast‑paced customer‑focused environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and sound judgement when handling confidential matters.
- The ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach.
