We are seeking a Family Lawyer to join our expanding firm with offices across the Redlands.

About the role
Your week will entail a range of family law matters, including:
- Parenting and children’s matters
- Property and financial matters
- Divorce and separation
- Family law negotiations and dispute resolution
- Court proceedings
- Binding financial agreements and related advice
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and advice
- Managing your own files while working closely with experienced practitioners
You will enjoy a hands-on practice including court work and client engagement. From the first client meeting through to finalisation, you will take ownership of your files and work closely with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will be confident in providing strategic advice on practical matters,
complex issues and working with our clients as their trusted advisor.
You will also benefit from dedicated support staff (legal assistant and paralegals) who will assist you in your day-to-day administration and file management.
We require you have a minimum of 3+ years of post-admission experience (PAE) preferably within the area of family law. This role has the option to expand into other areas of law for the successful applicant.

- Have at least 3+ years of post-admission experience (PAE) in family law
- A current Queensland Practising Certificate
- Is confident communicating with clients and other legal professionals
- Has strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
- Is empathetic and able to work with clients experiencing challenging circumstances
- Can manage competing priorities and work independently
- Is commercially minded while maintaining a strong focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients
