An opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a well-established manufacturing operation based on the Central Coast.

Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities across the site, helping ensure preventative and corrective maintenance is properly scheduled, resourced and completed.

This is a maintenance planning role with no direct people management responsibilities and would suit someone with a strong understanding of maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

- Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Develop weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate planned works
- Manage work orders and preventative maintenance through the site CMMS
- Coordinate labour, parts, materials and contractors required for maintenance activities
- Support shutdown planning and scheduled maintenance works
- Monitor outstanding work and help manage the maintenance backlog
- Coordinate spare parts and critical maintenance requirements
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives




- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

About You

- Previous maintenance planning experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or a similar industrial environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
- Experience using a CMMS, with MEX experience highly regarded
- Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills
- Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance
- Good understanding of work orders, spare parts and maintenance documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across maintenance and operations

A mechanical or electrical trade background would be highly regarded but is not essential.
