Working across major infrastructure, civil construction, property development, and industrial projects, you'll play a key role in delivering contaminated land investigations, remediation strategies, and environmental management solutions across NSW.

About the Role As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you'll manage contaminated land projects from investigation through to remediation and validation, working closely with clients, regulators, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver Phase 1 & Phase 2 Contaminated Land Assessments
- Plan and undertake soil, groundwater and soil vapour investigations
- Analyse environmental data and prepare technical reports
- Develop and implement Remediation Action Plans (RAPs)
- Supervise remediation and validation works
- Prepare validation reports and regulatory documentation
- Liaise with clients, contractors and NSW regulatory authorities
- Provide practical environmental risk assessments and remediation advice
- Support planning approvals and environmental compliance requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and consultants where appropriate
We're looking for someone who brings strong technical capability together with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
- Experience delivering contaminated land investigations and remediation projects
- Strong understanding of NSW EPA contaminated land legislation and guidelines
- Experience with Phase 1 & Phase 2 investigations
- Excellent report writing and technical communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Full Australian working rights
Highly Regarded
- Experience across major infrastructure or civil construction projects
- EPA accredited site auditor support experience
- Project management experience
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- Knowledge of environmental approvals and planning frameworks
