Our client, a leading manufacturer of drainage systems based in Dandenong, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / 2IC to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role with an established and respected manufacturer.

Pay Rate: $37.98 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will act as the second-in-charge (2IC) within the warehouse operation, supporting daily workflow, coordinating a small team, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

This is a hands-on position requiring regular forklift operation, warehouse coordination, and leadership support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day running of warehouse operations
- Lead by example and assist in coordinating a small warehouse team
- Oversee the picking, packing, and staging of customer orders to meet dispatch deadlines
- Ensure all orders are accurate, correctly labelled, and prepared for transport
- Operate both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Monitor stock movement and maintain warehouse organisation
- Maintain a clean, protected, and productive work environment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies

To Be Successful, You Will Have





- Proven experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
- Previous experience in a Team Leader, Leading Hand, Senior Storeperson, or 2IC role
- Experience supporting or supervising a small team within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- A proactive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
- Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
- Availability to commence immediately
