Who You Are
- Hold a formal Qualification in Electrical Engineering alongside solid background experience in electrical installations within mining.
- Proficient in E-Plan, AutoCAD Electrical, and general AutoCAD for designing, drafting, and updating wiring schematics and panel layouts.
- Experienced in Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems, PLC based control panels, and relevant Australian Standards and health regulations.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to define project scopes and work effectively both independently and in a team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Execute electrical engineering design and drafting including P&IDs;, cable schedules, wiring schematics, and equipment lists for tenders and projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers to align mechanical, process, and civil interfaces within schedule and budget.
- Develop and review inspection test plans, perform equipment testing for FAT and SAT, and conduct site commissioning tasks.
- Assist project engineers with scope definitions, costing, and technical documentation while maintaining strict quality and safety compliance.
