About our client
Our client has operated in concrete construction for 35 years, with offices in Perth and Adelaide. The business focuses on concrete flooring systems and holds two world records for floor flatness.
The Perth office has five people and works with approximately 35-40 subcontractors. The business operates with direct access to the owners and a team-based approach to tenders and project delivery.
About the opportunity
As Estimator / Scheduler, you will manage estimating from tender through construction completion, supporting projects across Perth and Adelaide.
- Prepare BOQs, take-offs and estimates.
- Apply rates across tenders and variations.
- Review drawings, scope and project changes.
- Use Excel, Plan Suite and JobPak.
- Support tender reviews before submission.
Once established, you will manage much of the function independently while working with management on design, scope and tender matters.
About you
We are looking for an estimator with construction experience and the ability to produce accurate estimates and schedules.
- Construction estimating experience.
- Knowledge of concrete works and flooring systems.
- Experience preparing take-offs and BOQs.
- Knowledge of trench mesh and waterproof membranes.
- Experience with Excel and estimating software.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
Experience with JobPak or high-tolerance industrial flooring will be regarded. You must also be willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
