Mental Health Clinician - Early Psychosis

Make a lasting impact in the lives of young people aged 12-25 experiencing, or at risk of developing, psychosis!

Our client is a leading community services organisation delivering a range of mental health and community-based programs across Canberra. This is an opportunity to join a specialised Early Psychosis service supporting young people following their first episode of psychosis, as well as those identified as being at ultra-high risk.

The program is based on an internationally recognisedwith a robust focus on early intervention, recovery, evidence-based practice and working collaboratively with young people, families and other services.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical assessment, formulation, risk assessment and treatment planning.
- Manage a clinical caseload from intake through to ongoing intervention and recovery.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions.
- Provide assertive outreach to engage young people and families.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, families, carers and external services.
- Participate in clinical reviews, supervision and an on-call roster.




- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to outcome measurement.

About You

- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy .
- Current professional registration with AHPRA, AASW or relevant professional body .
- Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication, clinical judgement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in youth mental health or early psychosis is highly regarded.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
