Pirtek Newcastle is a locally owned franchise of Pirtek Fluid Systems, specialising in the manufacture, servicing and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Store Person to join our team. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and is keen to learn new skills.

The successful applicant will be actively involved in the day‑to‑day operation of our warehouse and will work closely with our workshop, counter and mobile service teams.

About the Role

- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Stock handling and organisation
- Preparing and despatching orders
- Local deliveries and collections
- Using computers and inventory/order systems
- Maintaining accurate stock and ensuring goods are stored correctly
- Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean, organised and safe
- Providing assistance to other areas of the business when required

About You

- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Takes pride in the quality and accuracy of their work
- Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Can work independently while also being a team player
- Is physically capable of handling warehouse stock and equipment




- Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Is flexible and willing to learn
- Is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment

Skills & Experience

- Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
- A current NSW Drivers Licence — provisional licence holders are welcome to apply
- A current Forklift Licence — advantageous but not essential
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
