Lift Ease PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Lift Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in Keilor East, VIC. This is a hands-on technical position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of lift systems and equipment. As a Lift Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lift systems across a range of residential, commercial and industrial properties. Your work will be essential to maintaining the safety standards and reliability that our clients depend on.
Key responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair lift systems and associated mechanical and electrical components
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on lift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Diagnose faults and technical issues in lift systems and implement appropriate repairs
- Conduct safety checks and inspections in accordance with Australian Standards and relevant regulations
- Document all maintenance, repairs and inspections accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and repair requests from clients
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces whilst adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients to explain technical issues and provide updates on repair and maintenance work
- Keep up to date with industry standards, technical developments and regulatory changes
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Lift Technician or in a similar lift maintenance and repair role
- Knowledge of lift systems, electrical and mechanical components, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with Australian Standards relevant to lift safety and compliance
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health and safety standards
- Valid driver's licence
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications such as Working at Heights qualification and Rigging are highly valued
