Insurance Broker - Account Manager or SAM - Mid Market

HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join a premier brokerage in Brisbane.

This opportunity is perfect for a driven insurance qualified looking to manage an established upper SME and mid market portfolio with premiums ranging from $20k to $100k. Supported by a dedicated assistant, you will have the backing to focus on high level client engagement, portfolio retention, and strategic growth while taking advantage of an attractive bonus scheme.

The role

- Manage and service an established upper SME and mid market commercial portfolio with premium sizes ranging from $20k to $100k.
- Lead the end to end renewal process, market negotiations, and policy placements across varied commercial risks.




- Direct and delegate tasks to your dedicated assistant to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key business clients and major insurance underwriters.
- Identify organic growth opportunities within the portfolio to maximise bonus potential.

About you

- Must hold a Tier 1 insurance qualification.
- Demonstrated experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within a commercial brokerage.
- Strong technical expertise across mid market commercial lines and complex package policies.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and work efficiently with dedicated support staff.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and time management skills.
- A proactive, target driven mindset with a commitment to high service standards.
