Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk

Position: Full-time

Shifts Available: Dedicated Day Shifts OR Dedicated Night Shifts

About the RoleWe are seeking reliable, experienced Class 1 (LGV Cat CE) Shunter Drivers to join our busy operation based in the Port of Felixstowe. This critical role ensures the safe, efficient movement of containers and trailers around our yard and internal port terminals.

Key Responsibilities

- Move trailers and containers safely around the yard and port complex.
- Execute exact coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects immediately.
- Maintain strict compliance with port safety regulations and speed limits.




- Communicate effectively with the yard coordination and planning teams.

What We Are Looking For

- Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- Valid Digital Tachograph and DQC (CPC) cards.
- Previous shunting or tug driving experience within a port environment is a major advantage.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (for minor offences only, no DD/DR/IN endorsements).
