You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, deliver end‑to‑end bookkeeping services, and work closely with accountants and offshore team members to support efficient financial reporting and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

Client Bookkeeping

- Deliver day‑to‑day bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients across multiple industries

- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, receipts, and payments

- Complete bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations

- Undertaking doctors’ billing calculations and service fee arrangement invoicing.

Payroll & Superannuation

- Process payroll accurately and in line with Australian legislation

- Manage superannuation contributions and reporting

- Assist with payroll tax calculations and reporting where required

Compliance & Reporting

- Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS

- Ensure GST is correctly recorded and reported

- Assist accountants with management reporting and year‑end requirements

- Maintain compliance with ATO and other regulatory obligations

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping clients

- Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve discrepancies





- Coordinate with the offshore bookkeeping team to prioritise work and clarify requirements

- Build strong, trusted client relationships through responsive service

Workflow & Quality Oversight

- Lead and coordinate offshore bookkeepers to deliver timely, accurate work

- Review output for quality, compliance, and completeness

- Manage workflow, deadlines, and capacity across the team

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

What you’ll bring

- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within an accounting or professional services environment

- Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, and Australian bookkeeping requirements

- Experience using cloud‑based accounting systems (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Employment Hero)

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (desirable)

- BAS Agent registration, or willingness to obtain
