An exciting prospect exists for a motivated Sales Professional to join our team at the Sydney Steinway Gallery in St Leonards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong retail or sales background who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building meaningful relationships with clients. The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training and will have the opportunity to develop their sales skills while supporting our sales team across Sydney and ,where required, interstate.

Key Responsibilities

- Following a comprehensive training period and successful completion of probation, generate and develop sales opportunities from showroom visitors , as well as internet and telephone enquiries.
- Follow up enquiries and develop customer relationships through to sales.
- Welcome and engage with customers in the showroom and obtain relevant contact information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our bespoke CRM system.
- Provide assistance and support to the sales team.
- Assist with hosting showroom events and developing relationships with music teachers.
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation throughout the showroom.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service consistent with the Steinway brand.

About You

The successful applicant will:

- Have previous experience in a retail sales or customer-facing environment.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and motivated to achieve sales results.




- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident and professional in dealing with customers.
- Be immaculately presented and understand the importance of presentation within a luxury retail environment.
- Be able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be confident and persistent in following up customers and developing relationships throughout an extended sales process.
- Be available to work every Saturday, with a regular Tuesday rostered day off.
- The ability to speak Mandarin is advantageous.
