We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team in in 2026. This is a full-time team teaching role with a full time teacher-aide and small class sizes (typically 12-25 students). You will collaborate across classrooms and engage deeply with families and the community. The role involves:

- Daily classroom teaching and collaborative planning
- Non-contact team planning during holiday periods before each term (4 days before Terms 1 & 3, 2 days before Terms 2 & 4)
- Daily family engagement and parent meetings
- Report cards, student observations and records management
- Curriculum planning and delivery using project, inquiry and play-based models
- Attendance at community events: end-of-term concerts, Whole Community Meetings, Working Bees and annual events
- Active participation in our pedagogical approach and staff mentoring program
- Bringing your own passions and interests into the community

Start date: Term 4 or sooner.

Skills and experience

We are seeking a teacher with:

- Relationship-based behaviour management using consistent boundaries
- Experience with students in multi-age settings (Prep-Year 6 range)
- Confidence and warmth in daily family communication
- Passion for working with both gifted and neurodiverse students
- Enthusiasm for experimentation, observation and reflective practice
- Awareness of their own growth and self-perception as a teacher
- Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum (not just C2C)

Bonus skills

- Experience in play/project/inquiry learning models
- Confidence in multi-age classrooms or team teaching
- Competence with Google Workspace for Education
