About Our Client
Our Client is a leading equipment hire company supplying reliable machinery and equipment across a range of industries. They are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to support daily yard operations and lead a small crew at their Bells Creek facility.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Lead and coordinate a yard crew of two to three employees
- Prioritise daily workloads and allocate tasks
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Process off-hired equipment and inspect returned items
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and ready for rehire
- Operate a forklift to move equipment around the yard
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard
- Work Monday to Friday across 10-hour shifts
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Previous yard hand or equipment hire experience
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experienceCurrent Forklift Licence and operating experience
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
