The Role

Initially you will work with a Central Control Room Operator to become familiar with the operation of the steam plant area. The role is a shift work position working a lifestyle 12hr shift roster with 168 hours per month the roster includes 8hrs of rostered overtime paid at double time.

The role once you are trained will be Assistant Central Control Room Operator which is assistant to the boiler operator monitoring the cane receival milling train area.

Qualifications & Skills

The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:

- BA Advanced Boiler high risk work licence
- TO Open Turbine high risk work Licence is highly desirable
- Team player with good communication
- Demonstrated boiler operation

You must have a proven record of being self-motivated, responsible and a problem solver.

Remuneration and Fitness for Duty

- Tully Sugar Limited has well established employment conditions and competitive wage levels under the locally agreed Enterprise Agreement.
- There is prospect to increase earning capacity by working overtime, although the Company does not guarantee overtime availability.
- Safety is our priority and participation in our Fitness for Duty program which includes drug and alcohol testing prior to employment is required.
