About the Role
Reporting to the VIC Warehouse Manager, this role is all about delivery excellence . You’ll be the face of Abco for our customers every day — representing our values on the road up to 50hrs per week (7am-5pm) and delivering outstanding service at every stop with your Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid licence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers within designated routes and timeframes
- Load and unload your vehicle with care and accuracy
- Ensure every delivery is completed professionally and on time
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance concerns promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery point
- Warehouse support as required (assist with pick pack/dispatch/receipting of goods)
About You
To be successful in this role,
you will have:
- Previous driving experience
- A current Australian Medium Rigid licence or Heavy Rigid licence
- Valid Australian work rights
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- A strong customer-focused mindset
- You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, physical testing, police check and drug & alcohol screening
- If you have your Forklift licence, it's a bonus
