Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temporary position on a mine site in the Townsville region. This role operates on an 8/6 or 7/7 roster, with a mix of day and night shifts, and is offered on a DIDO (drive-in, drive-out) basis from Townsville. The successful candidate will earn $52.63 per hour on a flat rate, with food and accommodation supplied as part of the package.

Preferred Requirements
- Ability to work effectively on rotating day and night shifts within a mine site setting
- Sound laboratory practices and attention to detail in sample handling and testing
- Reliability and flexibility to adapt to roster changes as required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a remote location
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety protocols on site
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working on a mine site or in a similar industrial laboratory workplace
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
