Are you an organised and capable administrator looking for a varied role where your work contributes to supporting people across disability and aged care?
SCL Care Group is seeking an Administration Officer to join our Coffs Harbour team.
SCL Care Group is a family-run care organisation operating SCL Support Services, our NDIS disability support provider, and SCL Home Care, our growing in‑home aged care service.
Across the group, our focus is on providing compassionate, personalised support that enables people to maintain their independence, dignity and connection with their community.
About the Role
This is a group‑wide administration position supporting all areas of SCL Care Group.
You’ll work closely with our management, operations, compliance and finance teams to support both our disability and aged care services.
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in administration who can confidently manage day‑to‑day responsibilities while continuing to develop their skills and take on broader responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional phone, email and reception support.
- Maintain accurate client and employee records and documentation.
- Assist with client onboarding, staff recruitment and onboarding, and compliance records.
- Support rostering, scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Assist with NDIS and aged care compliance, document control and audit preparation.
- Prepare correspondence, forms, reports and meeting minutes.
- Maintain information across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, ShiftCare and other systems.
- Provide general administrative and basic finance support across SCL Care Group.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, qualified, approachable and confident with technology.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in administration, office support or a similar role.
- Experience in NDIS/disability and/or aged care/community services.
- Strong organisation, time‑management and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
- Confidence learning new systems and using technology, including AI.
- Good initiative, problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A professional approach to confidential and sensitive information.
Qualifications & Desirable Experience
- Certificate III or IV in Business/Business Administration, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience using ShiftCare or similar client management and rostering software.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Xero or PayCat.
- Knowledge of NDIS and/or aged care compliance requirements.
Employment Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain relevant employment and sector checks, which may include:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Current Driver Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Right to Work in Australia.
- Relevant mandatory NDIS and aged care training.

- Full‑time employment – 38 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 7:00pm.
