This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a major food manufacturer in Western Sydney. You'll work across a modern production environment, keeping critical machinery running reliably while gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing equipment.

The Role
Working as part of the site maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.
You'll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance , fault finding, repairs and equipment improvements across a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
- Troubleshoot machinery to minimise production downtime
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications and improvements
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Work closely with Production to maximise equipment uptime
- Maintain high standards of GMP, WHS and food manufacturing compliance
About You
- Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter
- 3+ years' industrial maintenance experience
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or high-speed packaging highly regarded
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Welding and lathe experience advantageous
- Strong focus on safety, reliability and preventative maintenance
- Good understanding of GMP and food manufacturing standards
