We are seeking a dedicated Indonesian Teacher to join our learning community in 2027. The successful applicant will be passionate about language education and committed to helping students develop meaningful connections with the wider world through language and culture. About the Role

The successful applicant will:

Teach Indonesian across Years 7-9

Inspire students through engaging language and cultural experiences

Promote intercultural understanding and global citizenship

Develop innovative learning experiences that support student growth

Contribute to the wider life of the College

Support the Catholic and Mercy ethos of the College

About You

You are an educator who:

Demonstrates expertise in Indonesian language teaching

Creates engaging and inclusive learning environments

Understands contemporary curriculum and assessment practices

Values collaboration and professional learning

Is committed to child safety and student wellbeing

Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

Demonstrated capacity to teach Indonesian across Years 7-9.





High level of Indonesian language proficiency and intercultural understanding.

Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and assessment requirements for Languages.

Ability to engage students through contemporary language learning approaches.

Commitment to evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment practices.

Demonstrated commitment to child safety, student wellbeing and inclusive education.

Capacity to work collaboratively within a professional learning team.

Commitment to supporting the Catholic and Mercy ethos of the College.
