Department of Communities and Justice NSW is seeking a Youth Officer to support young people in custody, helping them develop life skills and prepare for reintegration into the community. You will supervise daily activities, encourage education and therapy participation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and positive behaviour in a secure Youth Justice Centre.
Five weeks of paid induction training is provided to ensure confidence before starting.
