About the role

As a Category Assistant, you'll play an key role in supporting our category team as we develop and launch exciting new products. You'll gain exposure to product development, international supplier management and category strategy while working closely with experienced Category Managers and cross-functional teams across the buisness.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Fienza Category Managers in delivering category strategies and commercial objectives.
- Assist with the development and launch of innovative new products and ranges.
- Research market trends, competitors, and customer insights.
- Help develop product positioning including features, benefits, and pricing recommendations.




- Connect with local and international suppliers to obtain product and technical information.
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and data across internal systems.
- Support the preparation of product launch materials and assist the marketing team with catalogues, and website content.
- Collaborate with customer service and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
- Contribute ideas and insights that help improve our product offering.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Curious, organised, and eager to learn.
- Analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with different teams.
- Interested in products, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in category management, product development, or administration is advantageous but not essential.
