Overview

We’re looking for an experienced AWS Apache Flink Developer to join a high-impact project in Sydney. If you’re passionate about real-time data streaming and thrive in team-oriented, problem-solving environments, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Flink applications in Java for real-time stream processing.
- Deploy and manage workloads on Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers and scientists to integrate streaming solutions across data platforms.
- Optimise, monitor, and troubleshoot Flink jobs to ensure reliability and top performance.
- Implement best practices in data management, pipelines, and monitoring.

What we’re looking for

- 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus on big data.




- 5+ years of hands-on work with Apache Flink.
- Proficiency in Java for Flink application development.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, especially Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink.
- Excellent communication skills – able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A problem-solver who enjoys teamwork and bringing scalable solutions to life.
