Miles Electronics is seeking a skilled Radio Communications Technician to join our team in Cairns. This role involves working with 2-way radios, satellite phones, and microwave links. Your responsibilities will include programming, repairing, and installing equipment in a variety of settings.

Key aspects of the role include:

Programming, Repairing and Installing Equipment:

Work with a range of radio and communications equipment, including installation, testing, programming and fault finding.

Working at Heights:

Work at heights when required, including on roofs and towers. A rigging qualification would be highly regarded.

Team Collaboration:

Work as part of our experienced technical team, both independently and alongside other technicians.

Travel:

Occasional travel within Queensland for on-site work.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Radio Communications Technician and will consider applicants across a range of experience levels.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Experience in radio communications technology.





Robust fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills.

Ability and willingness to work at heights and in a variety of environments.

Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Ability to travel within Queensland when required.
