The Mayfair Emerald (Mayfair Ridge Tavern) Position : Full Time Location : Emerald, QLD

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 a year

Nested just outside Emerald's township, The Mayfair is the perfect family-friendly venue to relax, unwind with friends or stay over. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chef to join their team.

- Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
- Creativity and high presentation standards
- Ability to create dishes with consistency
- Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
- Ability to contribute to menu planning
- Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
- Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
- Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
- Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure workplace
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
