An exciting opportunity is available for a Full-time National Jewellery Planner to join our Head Office in the heart of Sydney CBD, in a hybrid arrangement.
Reporting to the Country Head, this role will play a key part in the strategic planning, allocation and optimisation of jewellery inventory across all channels. The role will oversee Open-to-Buy (OTB), replenishment, store allocations, customer order fulfilment and inventory health. Working closely with Retail, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Distribution, this role will help maximise sales, maintain service levels, minimise excess stock and support overall business profitability.
Key responsibilities
Develop and manage the national Jewellery OTB budget, ensuring inventory investment aligns with sales, stock turn and financial targets
Forecast inventory requirements and optimise stock levels across all channels using demand trends, business objectives and inventory performance metrics
Manage national replenishment, initial allocations and inventory distribution to maximise product availability while minimising excess stock
Oversee customer jewellery orders,
ensuring timely allocation, fulfilment and resolution of inventory-related issues to achieve service level targets
Support recent product launches, range changes, discontinued lines and seasonal transitions by ensuring inventory is planned and managed effectively throughout the product lifecycle
Execute national stock rebalances, recalls and product withdrawals to maintain inventory integrity and support changing business priorities
Oversee the end-to-end process for faulty jewellery claims, identifying quality trends and partnering with production to resolve product issues
Deliver regular inventory analysis, KPI reporting and recommendations that support informed commercial and operational decision-making
About you
5+ years' experience in Merchandise Planner, Inventory Planning or S&OE;, preferably in luxury, jewellery or fashion
Strong experience managing Open-to-Buy
Experience with replenishment and allocation
Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
