We are seeking an experienced Stonemason to join a busy team in Condell Park. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work with the potential to move permanent.
About the Role:
- Cutting, shaping and installing stone products
- Measuring, marking and interpreting plans/drawings
- Fabrication and finishing of stone surfaces
- Polishing, grinding and edging
- Installation of stone benchtops and other stone products
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- General workshop duties as required
- Work independently and as part of a team
To be successful, you MUST have:
- Strong knowledge of stone cutting, fabrication and installation
- Marble and granite experience
- Ability to accurately measure and read plans
- Experience with relevant hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good understanding of workplace health & safety
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Full working rights in Australia
