General Manager - Integrated Clinical Services

Working in close partnerships within the business you will leadan integrated, mobile and multidisciplinary clinical service thatconnects specialist and home care nursing, allied healthpractitioners and external clinical partners across Warrigal'sResidential Homes, Home Services and Village settings, enablingolder people to feel known, loved and connected.
In this role you will build sustainable in-house expertise forrising acuity, earlier intervention, subacute support and hospitalavoidance while developing eligible nursing and allied healthalternate funding streams, improving workforce and servicecoordination and strengthening clinical partnerships.
In this role you will
- Integrate a service strategy and model design that isresponsive to resident and client needs, and aged care reformrequirements
- Establish end-to-end access and workflow for clear referraland escalation criteria, transparent triage processes,responsive scheduling, fair prioritisation and reliablematching of the right specialist resource.
- Create positive working relationships within theorganisation operations partners
- Promote early intervention without creating inappropriatebarriers through specialist nursing and hospitalavoidance.
- Partner with Home Services and Villages operationssupporting connection across care contexts.
- Lead an allied health model that focusses on healthpromotion and combines risk-based assessment andintervention
- Lead organisation-level relationships setting serviceexpectations and performance measures with external clinicalpartnerships and contracts
- Participate in governance forums and turn learning intorevised pathways and resource decisions.
- Ensure financial sustainability with maximisation offunding streams and targets supporting clinical need, rights,clinical safety and professional judgement.

The requirements | What it takes to do thiswork
- Tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health or anotherrelevant health profession, with current professionalregistration where the profession is registered.
- Substantial senior leadership experience in complexcommunity, aged care or integrated clinical services, includingaccountability for multidisciplinary practitioners.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed ormobile services, including demand management, scheduling,triage, workforce allocation and service redesign.
- Strong understanding of care of older people, risingacuity,
hospital avoidance, transition care, chronic andcomplex care, palliative care, dementia and mental health.
- Demonstrated commercial and financial capability, includingbudgets, contracts, service costing, funding or revenue streamsand performance reporting in a clinical environment.
- Current unrestricted drivers license and capacity to travelregularly across the organisation.
