An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a high-performing offshore team based in Equatorial Guinea . This role is ideal for a strong leader with extensive mechanical maintenance experience in the oil & gas industry and a proven track record working on FPSO assets .

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians, contractors, and specialists.
- Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of critical rotating and static equipment.
- Support condition monitoring activities and fault diagnosis to maximise equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with permit-to-work (PTW), risk assessment, and safety management systems.
- Drive team performance, competency development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed to high technical standards.
- Contribute to emergency response activities and offshore safety programmes.
Requirements
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification preferred
- Minimum 5 years offshore experience , including 3 years in a supervisory role
- Previous FPSO experience is essential/desirable
Strong experience with:
- Oil pumps
- Gas compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal)
- Water injection pumps
- Power generation equipment
- Utility systems
- Rotating equipment and machinery maintenance
- Solid understanding of PTW systems and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent English communication skills
