We are currently seeking Electrical Designers to join our energetic project team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major EPCM project.
Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
- 8-12 years of WA iron ore or similar industry experience in High Voltage HV and LV systems up to 33kV
- Experience to review vendor technical documents and drawings
- Experience with power system studies including load flow, short circuit and harmonics
- Familiarity Australian and international Standards & codes studies including developing MTOs/Lists
- Familliar with cable sizing and schedule
- Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, client and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
- Experience in software design tools such as Smart Plant, DIgSILENTPower Factory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, CDEGS etc. is desirable.
