Together2 Limited has over 40 years of experience working with stakeholders to create opportunities for people to be themselves in the community. We operate 1:1 and group support services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers and Complex Care Support Workers across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) homes in Sydney's Inner West and Sutherland.
You will support adults and children with autism, intellectual disability, high-intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, mobility needs, and complex care requirements - both in the home and in the community.

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Disability Support Workers and Complex Care Support Workers across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) homes in Sydney's Inner West and Sutherland.
You will support adults and children with autism, intellectual disability, high-intensity support needs, behaviours of concern, mobility needs, and complex care requirements - both in the home and in the community.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including showering, toileting, cooking, and transfers in and out of wheelchairs
- Support participants to access the community and participate in community events and activities
- Implement and follow Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice guidelines
- Administer medications in line with medication management plans
- Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, progress notes, and data collection
- Build positive rapport with participants to maintain and increase social skills and reduce isolation
- Support participants to achieve their individual goals and build independence
- Contribute to the health, safety, and hygiene of the physical setting
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary care team
Shifts Available
Early morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, sleepover (both awake and sleepover shifts). Candidates must have flexible availability across a 24/7 rotating roster. Sleepover shifts are mandatory.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Disability Support Worker, with complex care experience preferred
- Experience managing behaviours of concern
- Full unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Flexible availability including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
- Unlimited Australian working rights (no work restrictions)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Knowledge of restrictive practices and the Child Safe Standards
Preferred
- Experience working in SIL and/or SSRC accommodation
- Experience supporting people with mobility issues (wheelchair use, transfers)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Medication competency (can be completed by our registered nurse at induction)
- Located within or close to Sydney's Inner West for emergency call-in availability
