This role is Monday & Tuesday (15 hours per week), from 7:30am to 4:00pm on a Part-Time Maximum-Term Contract (Six Months)
The Student Services Officer is a front desk role that supports all aspects of student administration, from orientation through to graduation. In addition, it assists with student activities, promotions, ticket sales, and administrative support for visiting Study Tour Groups.
Breaking down the role includes but not limited to:
- Taking external phone calls
- General administration
- Maintaining weekly task list to ensure deadlines are met.
- Helping to ensure that students have a excellent experience at Langports
Skills and Experience
The role is part of the small Student Services team and communication and willingness to jump in and help each other out is key to your success and the successful smooth running of the front office.
The successful applicant must have:
- At least oneyear of service industry experience in a customer/client-facing environment
- Have an organised approach to administrative tasks, possess a strong work ethic
- Be a proficient in multi-tasking, organisation and time management
- Work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Have a clear and professional phone manner.
- A genuine interest in assisting international students in all aspects of their Australian experience is also important.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential.
