A rare opportunity for a Senior Privacy & Data Counsel to take ownership of an enterprise-wide legal capability within a large, complex ASX Listed Australian organisation.

This is much more than a technical privacy role. You’ll lead a specialist Privacy & Data Legal Centre of Excellence , setting direction and building capability across privacy, data protection, data governance and AI .

Working closely with senior leaders across Legal, Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance and Security, your Legal Team will provide strategic, commercially focused advice in an increasingly complex regulatory and technology environment.

- 12+ years’ PQE with deep privacy and data expertise
- Direct experience leading & uplifting a legal team
- Robust leadership, influencing and stakeholder management capability




- The confidence to own the function & team, shape its direction and build capability
- Experience navigating complex organisations and evolving regulatory issues
- Exposure to AI and emerging technologies highly regarded
- Senior in-house candidates or experienced private practice lawyers ready to make a significant move in-house
