We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a telecommunications infrastructure team, working across the design, implementation and optimisation of access, edge and enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimise telecommunications and enterprise networks.
- Provide Level 3/4 support and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Work across FTTP, GPON/xPON, fibre and fixed access networks.
- Integrate and test recent network equipment and technologies.
- Work closely with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners.
- Maintain network standards, documentation and configurations.
- Participate in an on-call roster and occasional site visits.
About You
- 5+ years' telecommunications Network Engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of FTTP, GPON/xPON and fixed access networks .
- Experience with MPLS, Layer 2, BGP, OSPF and TCP/IP .
- Strong troubleshooting and network diagnosis skills.
- Experience with Nokia, Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet is highly regarded.
- CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCP or relevant degree is desirable.
