About the Position

Position Title: Grounds Person (Mower Operator)

Area of Work: City of Whittlesea (based at our Epping Depot)

Employment Type: Casual

We are looking for 6 x casual staff members to join our established City of Whittlesea Contract, providing a high standard of open space maintenance as part of our ongoing long-term contract. Candidates must have their own means of transport to drive to our Epping Depot for work each day.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued team member, you will be based out of our Epping depot and be responsible for daily mowing/detailing of reserves and roadsides. Utilizing our wide area mowers, out fronts and zero turns you will become a vital part of our team with your daily tasks including(but not limited to):

- Mowing (primary)
- Brush cutting
- Gardening
- Clearing Paths/Edging
- Removal of litter

Requirements

To be successful in this position, candidates must have:

- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Medium Rigid Truck Licenceendorsement
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience in commercial mowing working in open space maintenance
- Be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all seasons

- First Aid Certificate
- Traffic Management Certificates
- Industry Qualification
