Your new company Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Your new role
Provide cost control support across studies and projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost performance reporting. Apply strong change management governance to ensure scope, schedule, and cost changes are managed and controlled effectively. Analyse large and complex data sets, producing accurate insights and reports to support decision-making. Maintain project cost data and reporting within SAP, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance requirements. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective financial and project outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in study or project cost controls is essential.
- Solid knowledge of change management governance, with the ability to support controlled, compliant and well-documented processes.
- Advanced Excel capability,
including the ability to independently analyse complex data using formulas, pivot tables and reporting tools.
- Experience using SAP is mandatory; exposure to Ecosys will be highly regarded.
