THE ROLE & WHY JOIN US
We are looking for a Technology Business Partner to join BAM Wine Logistics in a senior, business-facing role that connects technology priorities with operational outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Technology Business Partner, you will need to influence, prioritise, manage projects and build trust across the business. You’ll need to stay close to operations and understand what is happening on the warehouse floor, in transport and across the customer order-to-delivery flow. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with BAM leaders to understand business strategy, operational priorities, customer needs and the technology opportunities that can create the most value.
- Lead delivery of BAM technology projects including the upcoming Transport Management System implementation and other initiatives that improve service, reporting, automation and operational performance.
- Drive Bulletproof BAU by improving visibility of system performance, service delivery, risks, issues and continuous improvement opportunities across critical BAM system
- Provide executive-level insight and recommendations on technology investments, risks, priorities and future opportunities.
- Champion change and adoption by helping teams understand what is changing, why it matters, what support is needed and how new ways of working will land operationally.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Broad enterprise technology experience with deep experience across project delivery, service delivery, platforms, business partnering, consulting, change or related technology environments.
- Strong project and portfolio management capability with the rigour to deliver sustainable technology outcomes while adapting your approach to a practical, fit-for-purpose business environment.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse technology investment, articulate value, challenge priorities respectfully and focus effort where it will deliver the greatest business benefit.
- Relationship and influencing strength with the confidence to build trust across operations, transport, warehousing, customer service, finance and senior leadership.
- Leadership capability including the ability to coach, develop and get the best from a direct report and broader teams.
- Resilience and comfort with ambiguity because this is a changing environment where priorities can compete, not everything is perfect, and you will need to keep momentum without becoming overwhelmed.
- Curiosity about operations with a willingness to understand BAM from the floor up, including how customer orders flow through warehousing, transport and delivery.
Experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or FMCG will help you understand the business faster, but what matters most is your ability to connect technology, people, process and commercial outcomes.
