As the Industrial Account Manager, you will manage an existing portfolio of major distributors and customers that service major utilities, transport and renewable energy projects. Reporting to a consultative manager who embraces teamwork, you will have the operational support and resources to equip you to deliver results.
In the role, you will:
- Formulate and execute account management strategies to strengthen business relationships with customers and major contractors
- Gather product specifications and requirements from customers and major contractors
- Work with Product Managers and the Internal Sales Support team to develop product and service offerings
- Present proposals, contractual documents, and technical product information to customers
- Work with the National Manager to develop annual and multi-year sales plans for target markets
- Research and investigate emerging markets (utilities, transport and energy) to identify current and future business opportunities
Requirements
- Proven Industrial Account Management experience managing commercial or distributor accounts (experience working with major contractors and distributors)
- Solutions selling experience with an ability to create value propositions that strengthen business relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with an ability to manage multiple business relationships across major projects
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
