My Spectrum Services is seeking a passionate, versatile and motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting chance to work alongside a range of Allied Health Professionals and Behaviour Support Practitioners, supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including our town office, customers' homes, schools, community environments, and our unique farm-based programs.
About the Role
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of our multidisciplinary team to support clients in achieving their goals and implementing therapeutic and behavioural strategies.
Your responsibilities may include
- Supporting Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, and Behaviour Support Practitioners with the delivery of interventions and programs
- Assisting with the implementation of therapy and behaviour support plans
- Delivering individual and group-based sessions under supervision
- Supporting clients during in-clinic, home-based, community, educational and farm-site sessions
- Assisting with data collection, progress monitoring and documentation
- Preparing resources and activities to support therapy goals
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, schools and support networks
- Contributing to a collaborative, person-centred and neurodiversity-affirming service model

Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or currently studying towards a relevant discipline)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to travel to and transport to/from clinic, home, school, community and farm-based locations
