We’re partnering with a highly regarded luxury residential builder specialising in architecturally designed, high-end homes. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Architectural Estimator to join their team.
This is an chance to work on bespoke residential projects, where accuracy, attention to detail and an understanding of premium construction are essential.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for estimating and pricing high-end residential projects from architectural documentation through to tender, working closely with clients, architects, designers, suppliers and internal construction teams.
You’ll be involved in:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for high-end residential projects
- Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications and engineering documentation
- Completing accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Developing detailed scopes of work and trade packages
- Identifying project risks, exclusions and cost variations
- Working closely with architects, designers and clients to understand project requirements
- Supporting negotiations and ensuring projects are accurately priced and commercially viable
About You
We’re looking for an estimator who understands that high-end residential is about more than simply putting numbers against plans.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven estimating experience within architectural, custom or luxury residential construction
- Strong knowledge of high-end residential construction methodologies and finishes
- Excellent ability to interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Experience with detailed take-offs, tendering and subcontractor negotiations
- The confidence to liaise with architects, designers, clients and senior management
- Strong organisational and communication skills
