Operating within a fast-paced production environment, this organisation is recognised for its commitment to quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to play a key role within the senior leadership team while leading a team of five across finance and payroll. This is an on‑site position, offering direct exposure to operations and the ability to influence business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of five across finance and payroll
- Managing month‑end close, financial reporting and forecasting processes
- Delivering business performance analysis and commercial insights
- Partnering closely with operational leaders to improve manufacturing performance and profitability
- Developing budgets, financial models and business plans
- Managing external audit requirements and stakeholder relationships
- Overseeing tax, compliance and statutory reporting obligations
- Reviewing contracts and identifying cost‑saving opportunities
- Driving process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations
- Supporting the ongoing optimisation of Oracle ERP processes and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
- CA or CPA qualified
- Previous experience leading finance teams within a manufacturing, industrial, agribusiness, FMCG or similar environment
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Experience business partnering with operational stakeholders
- Advanced commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Oracle ERP experience highly regarded
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands‑on approach and ability to thrive in a site‑based workplace
