What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable systems using C#/.NET.
- Contribute to the architecture and evolution of core platform components.
- Contribute to the modernization and evolution of a mature, business‑critical codebase.
- Write clean, productive, and well‑tested code following modern engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Research, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to performance optimization and system scalability.
- Support continuous improvement of development workflows, tooling, and CI/CD processes.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience developing with C#/.NET in production environments.
- Strong command of SQL and relational database design.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and architecture patterns.
- Experience working on complex, distributed, or high‑performance systems.
- Experience with messaging, such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Experience with ORM frameworks, particularly NHibernate (or similar such as Entity Framework or Dapper)
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in FinTech, capital markets, or trading/risk platforms.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience optimizing performance in large, complex codebases.
- Understanding of financial derivatives or risk analytics.
